I installed the atl2 driver before on my machine.  The module does not load on 
boot, network manager does not see the device and running modprobe atl2 
returns the following;

FATAL: Error installing atl2 (/lib/modules/2.6.18.8-86/extra/atl2.ko):invalid
module format
